These are all the unit events so far scheduled as REGISTERED or (?). Any other ideas or suggestions please don’t hesitate to call me or if it is not a unit-type event (not using our howitzer for example) then feel free to call the other members to drum up support.

I will finalize the dates as soon as possible and will get them out as they confirm. As always, I will call around as each event begins to get closer. Your assignment, if you choose to accept it is to memorize the attached Artillery Song sung to the tune of “The Pirates of Penzance”. There will be a test after a few Mark-tinis.

We’re men of the Artillery

We’re men of the Artillery
We’re happy as you can see.
We’ve got lots of heart
And we know we are smart
When we calculate trajectory.

We’re men of the Artillery
We’re happy as you can see.
We yell and we cuss
And we cause such a fuss
When we cannister the infantry.

We’re men of the Artillery
We’re happy as you can see.
We howl a rebel yell
As we send shot and shell
To advancing lines of enemy.

We’re men of the Artillery
We’re happy as you can see.
Though fields we have lost
They pay such a cost
For Death we send so steadily.

We’re men of the Artillery
We’re happy as you can see.
Cause now we are done
In our hearts we have won
We’re men of the Artillery.
